Terms of Service
Last updated: April 12, 2026
Welcome to Keepsake. By downloading or using the Keepsake app ("Keepsake"), you agree to these terms. Keepsake is built and operated by Two L Studios ("we," "us," "our"). If you don't agree with these terms, please don't use the app.
Who can use Keepsake
You must be at least 18 years old to use Keepsake. If you are not yet 18, please do not use the app.
Your license to use Keepsake
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use Keepsake on devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not:
- Resell, rent, or redistribute the app.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app except where permitted by law.
- Use the app to harass, defame, or harm any other person.
- Use the app in a way that violates the law or Apple's App Store terms.
About the AI gift suggestions
When you ask Keepsake to suggest a gift, we use an AI service (Anthropic's Claude) to generate ideas based on what you've told us about the person. The suggestions are generated by an AI — they are not curated recommendations from Two L Studios, and they are not guaranteed to be accurate, available, appropriate for every person, or a good fit for every situation.
Please use your own judgment. Check prices, read product descriptions, and make sure a suggestion actually makes sense before buying. We cannot be responsible for gift purchases you make based on Keepsake's suggestions.
Affiliate and third-party links
Keepsake may include links to third-party stores like Amazon, Etsy, or Google Shopping. When you tap one of these links, you leave Keepsake and interact with that store under its own terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for anything that happens on those third-party sites, including purchases, customer service, or how they handle your information.
In the future, some of these links may be affiliate links, meaning we could earn a small commission at no cost to you. We will disclose this in the app wherever it applies.
Your content stays yours
The notes, reminders, photos, and information you save in Keepsake belong to you. Keepsake does not upload or store this content on our servers — it lives on your phone. You are responsible for keeping your device safe and for making your own backups if you want them.
No warranty
Keepsake is provided "as is" and "as available." We do our best to make the app work well, but we can't guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or perfectly suited to your needs. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Two L Studios will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of Keepsake — including, without limitation, lost data, missed occasions, gift purchases you regret, or any other loss. If we are found liable despite this disclaimer, our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for Keepsake in the past twelve months (which, for the free version of the app, is zero).
Termination
You can stop using Keepsake at any time by deleting the app from your phone. We may update, suspend, or discontinue Keepsake (or parts of it) at any time, for any reason. If we make significant changes, we will do our best to give you advance notice.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continuing to use Keepsake after changes means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of Keepsake will be handled in the state courts of the United States.
